Episode Three - Vodka

Show Notes

This week we start out with listener feedback and, in response to one of the emails I received, I give the history and recipe for the Negroni. The Americano is also given as well since it is intertwined with the history of the Negroni.

We'll then go into the history of vodka and how it is made as well as a list of popular vodkas, where they're made and what they're made out of.

During the break, we give a famous quote from Frank Sinatra. Want to know what the quote is? You'll have to listen to the show to find out.

After the break I get into vodka infusions and also mention the 2006 Russian Festival in San Francisco. Here's the details:

2006 Russian Festival
2/10/2006 5pm - 10:30pm
Russian Center of San Francisco
Admission is $10

Celebrate all things Russian-American with plenty of food, dance, music, art and, of course, lots and lots of vodka!

Mr. Martini,

Thanks for the show on Vodka and infusions. I've never heard of doing infusions before, but plan on trying it tomorrow!

Cheers
